ChatGPT Voice now supports plugins and Work: users can check email, work through their calendar, take action on websites, and get things done hands-free. Voice can also invoke GPT-6 Astra, Sol, and Luna in the background.
A real-world use case from a Japanese user shows the value: running late to a Zoom meeting and unable to type, they used ChatGPT Voice to send a Gmail note to the other party about the delay — demonstrating a handy voice + Gmail integration.
