A user has published a detailed complaint accusing AI video platform Higgsfield of running a subscription trap:
- They only wanted to try the company's Blender plugin (with a 3-day waiting period) but somehow ended up subscribed to a $49 plan
- The product turned out to be essentially unusable
- Cancelling didn't work like most services: instead of keeping benefits until the end of the paid period, Higgsfield cancelled the SuperComputer feature they had specifically paid for
- Even the cancellation itself is still stuck at "processing", which the author reads as deliberate friction
The author says every negative review they later checked seems accurate. Notably, the complaint was posted in the replies to Higgsfield's official announcement of its Claude Opus 5.5 integration, creating an awkward contrast.
