Meta's new VR glasses have a content problem, but no real rival until 2028

Robert Scoble argues that the biggest weakness of Meta's new VR glasses is content: Apple has offered Dolby Atmos for years while Spotify hasn't, and Apple holds exclusives like Formula 1 that Meta can't replicate.
However, he thinks this won't matter to first buyers—there's already plenty to do in the headset for months. At $1,299 it's far cheaper than Apple Vision Pro, and Apple isn't expected to ship display glasses until 2028, giving Meta a huge lead until then.
