Meta's new 100g VR glasses undercut Vision Pro at $1,299, demos 90 WPM virtual keyboard

Meta announced new VR glasses weighing only 100g (about a deck of cards) at $1,299 — less than half the Apple Vision Pro's price.
Demo highlights: Palmer Luckey got visibly excited about display ports and hand occlusion handling; the built-in Muse assistant works by voice ('just talk to it'); and Meta CTO Boz typed 90 WPM on a virtual keyboard that turns any flat surface into 'a really good keyboard'. Commenters are already suggesting selling a Vision Pro to buy a pair with change left over.
