Peter Diamandis announced Moonshots LIVE, 'The Oscar for Optimists': a global screening of the Star Trek 60th-anniversary documentary The Sixty-Year Mission, followed by a one-day event in Los Angeles where ten finalists pitch for over $5M across two XPRIZE tracks — $3.5M for films depicting a future worth building and $2M for builders making one real.
Headliners include Palmer Luckey, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Cathie Wood, Mark Pincus, Google AI Studio product lead Logan Kilpatrick, Neal Stephenson, and Emad Mostaque. In-person attendance is capped at 1,500 selected applicants, while the main stage streams free on YouTube.
