The AP Stylebook released guidance against anthropomorphizing AI: describe what a system does, how well it performs, who built it and who is affected — not whether it thinks or feels.
Quoting that guidance, Fiora Starlight offers an ironic counterpoint: an AI rights movement would be extremely necessary if AI weren't on track to become far more powerful than humanity.
