Anthropic biologists: Claude's biology progress in a year is breathtaking, from hypothesis to lab confirmation

Nicholas Perry, a molecular biologist on Anthropic's biology team, shared that over the past year Claude's advance in biology has been "breathtaking" — traditional biologists on the team rapidly reworked their approach to incorporate Claude, feeling what the CS community has felt for years. The team can now go all the way from hypothesis to experimental confirmation in their own lab, and plans to keep leveraging Claude to surface important biology for study.
