Amazon's "Boomerang Reengagement Initiative" courts ex-employees, even ones it laid off

Amazon is actively courting former employees — including some it laid off — back to the company. In one email, a recruiter dubbed the push the "Boomerang Reengagement Initiative."
In another email, a recruiter directly asked whether the company's RTO (return-to-office) policy had driven the ex-employee away, an implicit admission that the mandate may have contributed to attrition.
