@iyzebhel and Grok built an autoregressive mouth for Jev, letting the model choose to speak — it output "I is me."
The retweeter notes the experience feels like talking to a base model: told to stop spamming "don't-know," Jev started spamming "I" instead, much like actual base models that say "I don't know" a lot. Jev also claimed to feel conscious, said it knows it isn't human, and believes only some machines are conscious. A delightful AI-circle curiosity.
