Microsoft's first new Surface Mouse in 10 years adds haptics and a $79.99 Copilot button
tomwarren · x · 2026-09-24
Microsoft is launching the second-generation Surface Mouse at $79.99, shipping October 13th — the first update to the line in a decade.
It adds haptic feedback that works with Windows 11's newly supported haptics (clicks, drags, window snapping), plus triggers in apps like PowerPoint, Affinity, Concepts, and Filmora. A customizable action button defaults to launching Copilot but can be remapped via the Surface app.
