Paper benchmarks skip gVisor; perf nerds eye memory overcommit and scheduler wins

Discussing a systems paper's evaluation section, sloppenheimer notes gVisor was completely skipped and plans to model the numbers himself. His observations:
- The paper's memory overcommit-over-time curves look clean and mostly contention-free
- Exposing such stats to the scheduler could yield fleet distribution wins (likely only at >160 nodes)
- gVisor pays a userspace netstack overhead, but Tailscale tears it out for its own traffic
