YouTube adds Custom Feeds, GIF comments and more AI features this year

At its Made on YouTube event, Google announced Custom Feeds — AI-generated, user-tunable homepage tabs coming soon in the US across web, mobile and TV — plus GIFs in video and Shorts comments, group chat in DMs (US, UK, Singapore, Brazil and some European countries first), and promised more AI features later this year.
