OpenEvidence and Anthropic bring free medical AI to clinicians in ~100 low-income countries

OpenEvidence founder and CEO Daniel Nadler announced a partnership with Anthropic to offer a specialized version of OpenEvidence free of charge to clinicians in roughly 100 low- and middle-income countries, including Uganda, Angola, Sudan, Haiti, and Mongolia.
Nadler framed the initiative around the principle that "access to medical knowledge shouldn't depend on geography," aiming to give doctors in under-resourced regions AI-assisted evidence-based medical search and decision support.
