Per The Verge, Anthropic's new wet lab has made its first discovery:
- Nearly 950 Claude agents worked for 21 hours, consuming 210 million tokens
- One agent noticed an unusual repeating DNA pattern
- Subsequent analysis and wet-lab testing identified what Anthropic calls "a previously uncharacterized enzyme system found in bacteriophages"
