A Redditor attached a paintbrush to an open-source SO-101 robot arm and gave Claude Opus 5 full control, asking it to paint the Golden Gate Bridge. The model learned the arm's controls, generated calibration files, and decomposed painting into simpler instructions. Over 45 hours of iterations, output quality improved almost every round as details accumulated and mistakes got fixed.
