ElevenLabs MCP challenge burns dev's credits just reading a node tree, then demands payment

Developer NickPassig documented his failed run at ElevenLabs' MCP challenge: after wiring the EL plugin and MCP into ChatGPT and generating assets (8k credits remaining), ChatGPT said MCP couldn't composite the final video. Switching to ElevenLabs Flow's AI Agent, the agent burned nearly all his free credits merely reading a complex node tree, then demanded 9,500 more credits (he had 1,100) to continue. Total time lost: 1h20m. Lessons: cost out any 'challenge' before entering, and avoid contests that don't provide ample platform credits.
