Opus 5.5's breakfast joke for a novel cracks up the author

The author shares a line Opus 5.5 drafted for his book: Archibald had never once missed breakfast. In eleven years, George had known him to skip a walk (thunderstorm, 2019), a bath (every bath), and a visit from George's sister (on principle). But breakfast was sacred. The author says the phrase "on principle" made him giggle.
