Comfy Router launches: one API for frontier image, video, 3D and audio models across providers

Comfy officially launched Comfy Router, a unified API for calling frontier image, video, 3D, and audio generation models — same model string, same arguments, no new SDK, key, or redeploy needed.
Key features:
- Explicit routing: you name the provider; no silent fallback if it's down
- Traceability: every job reports which provider ran it, for logging, billing, and debugging
- Async: submit() returns a request ID immediately with automatic retries on 429s and transient errors; subscribe() polls to completion
- Batch-friendly: queue hundreds of jobs without blocking on long video renders
- Inputs/outputs retained 24h then deleted; billed via Comfy credits with no subscription or router fee
Launch providers: Comfy, Runware, Wavespeed, Fal, and Higgsfield, with multi-provider routing where supported.
