Kong, the 'agentic reverse engineer': LLM-guided decompilation recovers names, types, and call graphs in Ghidra
tom_doerr · x · 2026-09-24
Kong (1.1k GitHub stars) bills itself as the world's first agentic reverse engineer. It orchestrates LLM-guided decompilation on top of an NSA-grade framework to automate the mechanical layer of binary analysis: triaging functions, building call-graph context, recovering types and symbols, and writing results back into Ghidra — turning FUN00401a30 into parsehttpheader on stripped, obfuscated binaries.
