Developer @generativist shared a coding anecdote: his Rust apps scan images and run them through ONNX-loaded models, but an older version didn't optimistically open extensionless files as images. The new Opus solved the discrepancy by creating temporary symlinks for those files — a patch he calls "pretty solid" and admits he wouldn't have thought of himself, since he'd have just fixed the optimistic loading path instead.
