Shanghai-based AI energy startup DaMao Technology has completed a new round of roughly RMB 200 million, its second nine-figure raise in a year. Backed by CATL and SenseTime, the 2021-founded company (CEO Jian Yuwen, ex-SenseTime) builds compute-power coordination, virtual power plant, and smart O&M platforms using proprietary energy LLMs and AI agents. Its compute-power coordination 2.0 platform, launched in July, links AI data center power demand with renewables, grid, storage, and power trading — targeting power supply as AI infra's next bottleneck.
