Robotiq Takes Over Community ROS 2 Gripper Drivers With Three Official Open-Source Releases

Robotiq grippers have run in ROS 2 and Isaac Sim for years thanks to volunteer-written community drivers and simulation models. This week Robotiq took ownership with three open-source releases:
- An official ROS 2 package, a drop-in replacement matching the community driver's interfaces — switching costs a single line;
- A C++ SDK offering the same control as a standalone library for teams building outside ROS;
- Updated NVIDIA Isaac Sim assets now supporting closed-loop kinematics, so a 2F-85 moves through its coupled linkage accurately.
