CIFAR Global Scholars Program Opens 2027 Cohort Applications, Deadline Nov 4

The CIFAR Brain Mind & Consciousness program, associated with neuroscientist Anil Seth, has opened applications for its 2027-2029 Global Scholars cohort, with a deadline of November 4, 2026 (12:00 PM EST).
The program targets early-career principal investigators, supporting high-risk, high-reward interdisciplinary research. Successful applicants join one of CIFAR's research programs, collaborate with global research leaders, and receive focused leadership training. Candidates from natural sciences, biomedical and social sciences, and humanities are all welcome.
