Qualcomm has introduced two new mobile chips aimed at embedded AI agent workloads. The chips feature a Hexagon NPU designed specifically for locally running Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) models, pushing agent inference onto the device rather than the cloud — another sign that edge AI silicon is being optimized for agentic use cases.
