- Read the filings you avoid: have AI parse annual/quarterly reports for changes in revenue, margins, debt, share count and cash flow, flagging what looks worse than headline numbers, citing exact sections — press releases are the highlight reel.
- Check management promises: compare the last 4 earnings calls into a promises-vs-outcomes table with sources.
- Find the real competitor: challenge your assumed rival, probing product shifts, customer behavior and new entrants that could take profits in 5 years.
- Follow the cash: explain net income vs free cash flow gaps via stock compensation, capex, working capital and one-time items.
The core idea: profit is a story, cash is the truth — use adversarial prompts to force contrarian evidence.
