OpenAI reportedly plans Free, Prototype, and Accelerate tiers for its app-building platform

Leaked details suggest OpenAI Platform will add three developer plans to build and host AI apps:
- Accelerate: starting at $50, access to all latest models, higher usage and rate limits for production apps, with API building in Codex and Playgrounds
- Free and Prototype tiers cover experimentation and lightweight app building
The plans are likely to be announced at DevDay, which would put OpenAI in the Vercel/Lovable app-building space. Sam Altman's recent "the best ideas will come from you all" comment aligns with this direction.
