Stripe launches WebMCP endpoint letting AI agents complete full web purchases

Stripe has introduced a new WebMCP endpoint that enables AI agents to complete full purchases on the web.
- With the Stagehand framework, agents can navigate to any Stripe checkout page and use the page's WebMCP tools to fill out checkout and fetch order details.
- Running listConnectors() reveals which WebMCP connectors a given page exposes to agents.
- This natively wires the payment step into agent workflows, moving 'agentic shopping' closer to reality.
