Per the FT, China's SASAC has been surveying Broadcom usage across state-controlled data centers and is weighing curbs on Broadcom switches that may account for up to 90% of state-backed data-center deployments. The review targets high-speed switches moving data between accelerators during training and inference, extending China's hardware-independence push from chips to the networking layer.
