- Bloomberg reports Mirendil, a 20-person lab founded by ex-Anthropic researchers, is in talks to raise at a $5B valuation; its June seed was $200M at $1B.
- No public model yet; first model targeted for early 2027.
- The pitch: software that improves the next training run, letting science labs build their own model without a frontier shop.
