Bostrom's question: would you raise kids if superintelligence would do it better?

A discussion around Nick Bostrom's Deep Utopia: as we approach superintelligence, the economic question may not even be the scariest one. Bostrom asks — if we knew superintelligence could raise children better than us, would we still raise our own? Would doing it ourselves be a disservice to the child? The quoted post adds that almost no one has truly internalized that machines will soon exceed us in every intellectual and physical capacity; we still deep down believe our 'entrepreneurship' or 'taste' is special and safe — it isn't.
