Developer zulali bought an old 90s TV, added a Raspberry Pi, a mic, and a camera, and wired it to Codex via GPT Realtime — turning it into an AI-powered TV. Recipient rileybrown called it the coolest gift ever, and OpenAI's dev account reshared the build.
rileybrown also announced a weekly AI-hardware video series starting October, covering 3D printing, smart devices, mini robots, local models, smart rings, E Ink devices, and eventually humanoids, inviting open and hackable projects.
