Domingos unveils Tensor Logic, unifying deep learning and symbolic AI — 'the printing press' against the AI priesthood

ML researcher Pedro Domingos draws an analogy: in the Middle Ages only the priesthood could read Latin and access the Word of God; today only the "AI priesthood" can interpret model weights and access the Mind of Superintelligence. He argues the printing-press moment has arrived — Tensor Logic, an AI programming language based on a deep unification of deep learning and symbolic AI, combining the scalability and gradient-based learning of neural networks with the transparency and reliability of symbolic knowledge representation and reasoning.
