Parker Ruth, a PhD student advised by Prof. Landay at Stanford, developed an improved method for analyzing heart signals: Bayesian pulse deconvolution. It helps extract accurate information from health-device biosignals, addressing the blurry, overlapping pulses typical of wearable sensors. The work is published in npj Digital Medicine.
