In an AGI-definition thread, ChrisGPT proposes a hybrid of DeepMind's and OpenAI's definitions: AGI should fully replace the median human in over 50% of the most economically valuable white-collar tasks — plus the part nobody adds, efficiency and long-term reliability. It's easy for AI to nail a one-off task; the real test is sustaining that taste and reliability over months or a year without re-prompting.
