A Reddit user gave Opus 5.5 High a simple prompt for a 2-3 minute surreal horror short set in Kowloon, plus audio/video tools and a three-hour budget. The model wrote the story and shot list, generated images in Midjourney and animated them, had Suno compose and re-cut the score, made sound effects and Cantonese voice lines in ElevenLabs, and edited, color-graded (35mm grain, sodium orange and sickly fluorescent green) and mixed the film itself.
Notable details: when Midjourney wouldn't switch off a window light, Claude fixed it frame by frame; it caught a color bug in its own render before the user did; it verified the QR code on the end card actually scans; and it asked permission before doing anything the user might dislike. Prompt to finished film took about 2.5 hours with minimal handholding, and the author rates its aesthetic judgment well above previous models.
