Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 announced with on-device 30B MoE model support

At Snapdragon Summit, Qualcomm unveiled the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor, with Chris Patrick walking through its CPU, GPU, NPU and cache design.
The flagship technical feature is support for 30B-parameter MoE models running on-device: weights are streamed from flash memory into system RAM on demand. The author notes he's curious to see real-world performance.
