OpenAI's September 22 release ships GPT-6 Sol to Plus and Pro subscribers, but only in Work and Codex — the changelog states plainly that the models are available in ChatGPT's Work and Codex, "but not Chat." Regular Chat still has no GPT-6 model in the picker, and OpenAI has given no date for when that might change, frustrating subscribers who pay primarily for Chat itself.
