New polling of American voters finds that, when asked whether AI safety concerns are real or a hoax, voters of every party reject the hoax claim by roughly a two-to-one margin. AI safety researcher David Krueger amplified the result, suggesting the public is not buying the narrative that AI safety is manufactured hype.
