OpenAI launches GPT-6 Sol and Luna with API prices 50% below GPT-5.6

OpenAI officially introduced GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna, two faster, more affordable models that bring much of the strength of flagship GPT-6 Astra to large-scale workloads.
The company also improved caching and inference efficiency and is passing the savings to users: Sol and Luna API pricing is 50% lower than GPT-5.6 promotional pricing.
