AI pioneer Jürgen Schmidhuber argues much of science is about learning to interact with the real world, and today's fragile AI-driven robots are bad at it. While he maintains — as he has predicted for five decades — that superhuman physical AI will eventually arrive, it will take considerably longer than 2 years.
