ZeeshanZiaML · x · 2026-09-23
jdekoninck launched the Slop Index, a satirical citation index that calculates how much "slop" a researcher produces. Zeeshan Zia called it a brilliant direction, arguing academia needs automatic, reproducible, content-based metrics like this in Google Scholar to counter paper-spam culture.
