OpenAI's GPT-6 Sol and Luna hit Amazon Bedrock with significantly lower pricing

GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna are now generally available on Amazon Bedrock, at significantly lower API prices than their GPT-5.6 predecessors. Sol targets demanding recurring work — OpenAI's internal factuality eval shows roughly half the factual mistakes of GPT-5.6 Sol — while Luna handles high-volume focused tasks with per-request reasoning effort. Both support explicit prompt caching, run on hardware-isolated infrastructure with zero-operator access, and AWS keeps inference data out of model training with optional zero data retention.
