BridgeBench: Grok 4.7 is 50% pricier and 60% slower than Grok 4.6 with no quality gain
socialwithaayan · x · 2026-09-23
BridgeBench ran the same lava lamp test on Grok 4.7 and 4.6: 4.6 cost $0.23 in 9m 54s, while 4.7 cost $0.35 in 15m 46s — 50% more expensive, 60% slower, and the output still isn't usable for real frontend work. Grok's edge was being cheap and fast; now the price went up, the speed went down, and the quality gap remains.
