Maker 3D-prints AI-generated robot models, runs out of white filament mid-job
mhmazur · x · 2026-09-22
The author 3D-printed robot models generated and rendered digitally by an AI pipeline (Emergent Mind robot for himself, a Lunar Rover for his son). He notes he can't be 100% sure every model prints correctly, but since they all rendered digitally for the preview images, they likely print fine, and asks for issue reports. He jokes that running out of white filament near the end gave the robot green eyelashes and a green antenna.
