Multi-GPU build tip: RTX 6000 Pro exhaust will flood a Max-Q card's intake if stacked wrong

Zach Mueller and Mike Bradley break down airflow order in multi-GPU workstations: the RTX 6000 Pro (workstation card) uses a direct pull-through cooler, while the Max-Q vents from the side. Stack them in the wrong order and the Pro's hot exhaust blows straight into the Max-Q's intake, creating permanent thermal problems. The fix: place the Max-Q upstream in the airflow path so its side exhaust never hits the workstation card's intake. Lesson: multi-GPU placement is about airflow direction, not cramming cards in.
