Developer @andyhelbig vented about Claude's (Fable and Opus) writing: fake-eloquent, smug, and full of tics like 'load-bearing assumptions' and sentences starting with 'And'—and he says strict global instructions can't remove these Claude-isms. He calls it 'AI for people who never learned to communicate succinctly' and finds ChatGPT, Grok, and Kimi far more natural in style, though with tradeoffs on actual analysis and artifacts.
