Don't Stack Them Tight: Blower vs Open-Fan RTX PRO 6000 Cooling Conflict
TheZachMueller · x · 2026-09-22
A hardware PSA for multi-GPU rigs: the RTX PRO 6000 Workstation card uses open-air fans and grills that need open airflow, while the Max-Q blower edition is a mostly solid block exhausting from the rear. Butted up against each other in a tight 4-card stack, the Max-Q becomes an intake/exhaust obstruction for the adjacent workstation card. Spacing them out fixes it.
