Andrew Garfield, who plays Sam Altman in the upcoming movie Artificial, says he stopped using ChatGPT after diving into OpenAI — just as he quit Facebook after The Social Network. "The more you know, the more you realize we're careening into some very unknown territory," he said, quoting OpenAI's own framing: they don't know who will lose jobs or how the economy will work for ordinary people, "but we'll find out and it's going to be awesome."
