Jay Alammar, together with Maarten Grootendorst, Josh Starmer, Chris McCormick and others, is hosting a free online masterclass on AI agents on September 29, 1:00 pm ET.
The course is a framework-independent gentle introduction covering:
- The difference between a standard LLM application, an LLM workflow, and a genuinely agentic system;
- Why reasoning matters: Chain-of-Thought, search against verifiers, and related techniques;
- Memory and tools as the bridge from talking to doing: retrieval, API calls, code execution;
- Planning, reflection, and autonomy.
