Dutch PM joins international call for stronger oversight of frontier AI

The Dutch Prime Minister, speaking around the UN General Assembly, warned that frontier AI models pose major risks if not properly governed, despite their potential benefits. He argued AI's direction is currently decided by a small number of companies and countries, and signed an open letter with many international counterparts calling for stronger, democratically legitimate oversight of frontier AI.
